2025 Spring Fishing Update! Live Bait already! Salmon Dates, Family Day Schedule and More!
2025 is quickly underway! We received word on 4/18 that Live Bait is already available for the season! We’ve been taking full advantage of the early live bait, with the striped bass bite already WIDE OPEN. We will be running AM (1/2 day) Halibut and Striped Bass trips throughout the Spring and into the Summer season!
The Play’N Hooky concluded their last Dungeness Crab/Live Bait Combo trips with anglers returning home with fresh striped bass, halibut and ofcourse fresh crab! These trips are extremely popular in the Spring, with this being the last time til winter for fresh crab! Don’t miss out on them next year!
Salmon is FINALLY BACK! It may not be what we are used to, or expecting as a “season” but regardless we are excited to put salmon trips back on our calendar! This season will be broken into two parts : June, July, August ; September and October. They will have separate qutoas of 7000 and 7500, which is for the entire state. We will be closely monitoring the quota situation and adjust trips as it’s deemed necessary.
The Salmon Schedule is below :
June - 6th and 7th
July - 7th and 8th, 31st
August - 1st-3rd ; 25th-31st
September - 4th-7th ; 29th-30th
October - 1st-5th ; 27th-31st
Salmon limit is still 2 fish @ 20” minimum. Below are some highlights from our 2022 trips (last season of fishing since closure)
Family Day Trips are of course back for 2025! As these have been a HUGE hit with not only the kids, but a perfect bonding opportunity for the whole family! We try our best to make it worth wild to bring everyone out to experience the thrill of fishing!
